In recent years, the world climate has undergone major changes, something we we can all appreciate. According to PNUD, Bolivia (2015), in South America environmental changes are evident and can be seen in extreme droughts, frequent frosts, hailstorms, etc. These events generate large production losses in different areas, as well as fatalities.
On The Viracocha III Expedition
Scientific research will be conducted while on the voyage. We will study the existing level of plastics in the ocean in order to better understand the damage being done to the environment. We will carry out scientific experiments related to the overall level of pollution in the water and observe better aquatic life of the Pacific Ocean and will make audio recordings of marine fauna.
